This is a mural I did in the infant nursery of my church, when a Boy Scout was updating our facility for his Eagle Scout project. The idea for the mural came from a Sunday School book published in the 1940′s, but I wanted to represent many ethnicities, so I adapted it. The mural goes all the way to the floor, and the children love to sit and “pet” the donkey and talk to the people depicted.
